A tribute piobaireachd. Piping at the MacCrimmon Cairn at Boreraig
Playing a tune at Boreraig on the Isle of Skye to honor the founding family of piobaireachd. Perseverance was the word of the day as the weather conditions were less than optimal to say the least with gale force winds, horizontal rain, and frozen fingers.

I found this video before I got married and we played it for my procession as well. It’s so beautiful!
This makes my Scottish blood very happy. There is just something so hauntingly beautiful about bagpipes. When my dad was laid to rest with full military honors, he was piped to his final resting place by a piper playing "Scotland the Brave." He was a proud son of Scotland.

Having Donald Ross play this in my daughter's wedding in June in tribute for her Scottish Grandfather and father which are no longer with us. Highland Cathedral brings me to tears everytime. Donald Ross on pipes is amazing

All bridesmaids looked like they are wearing a towel having just stepped out of the bath. Not nice dresses at all. They looked half-dressed. Why are bridesmaids dresses always so ugly looking? Afraid it’s going to take something away from the bride?

Sorry but these girls CANT WALK IN STELETTO HEELS. WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH LOVELYER IN A LOWER PUMP EITH THE DHORT DRESS. I THOUGHT THEY ALL WERE GOUNG TO TURN AN ANKLE GOING FOWN THE ISLE. THOSE SHOES RUIN YOUR FEET.AND BAVK. YOULL SEE IN ABOUT 20 YEARS.

I chose this for my wedding. Everytime I hear it, it stops me in my tracks. I wanted bagpipes in honor of my father. I would have loved for him to walk me down the aisle. Instead, my 9 year old grandson did the honors.

I love bagpipes. It was my request to have them played at my son’s funeral when he died serving our country. The gentleman stood out on a knoll amongst some trees and played beautifully.
that is something I did not think about I was so devastated when our son left us.

So sorry for your loss. My family plays them at weddings and funerals. I had my dad piped to his grave and my sweet niece was killed tragically and I had them do highland cathedral because she didn't get to be a bride.
